BIOGRAPHY
At the completion of his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from Covenant University in 2012, Femi Alabede, popularly known as The Alfe, honed his innate skill as an artist; drawing and painting portraits. Purchasing his first camera in 2015, with the purpose of taking clear pictures of his artworks, He found himself also taking beautiful portraits of friends and family and this birthed his interest in becoming a creative photographer. Femi Alabede, who sees himself as a perfectionist, works very hard to make sure his works are of the best quality by continuously improving his craft through steady practice and studying the works of his predecessors.
The Alfe is a visual artist who expresses his ideas through Photography, Drawings and Mixed media. His works are inspired by accomplished photographers like Kelechi Amadi-Obi and Mario Testino, as he loves to dabble around the field of surrealism and creative sets and lightening in his effort as a fashion and beauty photographer. Within a year of starting his career, he set up ALFE STUDIOS - a creative outfit that handles not only Photography but Consultancy, Creative Direction, Art Direction, Brand Strategy, Set Designs, Graphic Design, and Training, with an effective team to aid in the actualization of creative campaigns for corporate and individual brands.
